Coaching Queens with

Nike Football

Brief

Women’s football is growing in Ghana with over 100,000 girls playing the sport, however opportunities for women to become licensed coaches are limited.

Nike, in partnership with Right to Dream and The Powerhouse Project, have taken six talented female coaches from Ghana on a transformative journey towards becoming fully qualified CAF D coaches. The initiative, named after the Ghanian women’s national team, ‘The Black Queens’, aims to address a shortage of qualified female coaches in the country and help inspire a new generation of Ghanian girls to take their game to the next level.
